NOTRE DAME, Ind. Notre Dame students brought the board game Battleship to life Sunday.

Dozens of students met at the Rolfs Aquatics Center to play their own version of Battleship.

The first ever intramural battleship tournament gave students the opportunity to sink their opponent’s ship.

Players filled buckets of water and threw them into the enemy ship.

The last canoe still afloat was named the winner.
