Community fellowship breakfast
The Niles Chapter of the NAACP is hosting a community fellowship breakfast at Mount Calvary Baptist Church on Ferry Street from 7 to 10 am.
Breakfast is free but donations are appreciated.
Free museum entrance
Entrance to the Center for History and the Studebaker National Museum in South Bend is free, as long as you bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Food Bank of Northern Indiana.
They're open from 10 to 5.
Civil rights march
The annual civil rights march begins at noon at the County-City Building in South Bend.
Mayor Pete Buttigieg will be there.
State of our Black Youth
The Indiana Black Expo will present the 2012 findings of the "State of our Black Youth" report at 10a.m. at the Century Center.
Exhibits and blood drive
Exhibits and vendors from different community groups and small businesses will be set up from 9a.m. to 4p.m. at the Century Center.
A blood drive runs from 9a.m. to noon.
SJRMC awards
The St. Joseph Regional Medical Center will present the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Award and Rosa Parks Award to SJRMC associates who are helping to build a better world through advocacy and service to the community.
The public is invited to attend and enjoy refreshments. It begins at 11a.m.
