INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - First lady Michelle Obama is scheduled to raise money in Indianapolis next week for her husband's re-election campaign.
She's set to appear at Lucas Oil Stadium on Aug 23. She canceled plans last month after the mass shootings at a Colorado movie theater.
President Barack Obama was a regular visitor to Indiana through the 2008 campaign as he fought late into the spring to secure the Democratic nomination. Obama later became the first Democrat to carry Indiana in a presidential election since Lyndon B. Johnson in 1964.
