South Bend, Ind. Hundreds flocked to South Bend this week for the "GreenTown Conference."

On Sunday, Mayor Pete Buttigieg discussed the topic of going green on WNIT’s “Politically Speaking” show.

Mayor Buttigieg said the conference was a great success, and said there's still ways south bend can improve.

“In a matter of weeks, much will depend on whether the common council can summon the political courage to accept changes to sewer rates in order to improve our system… we can really lead the nation and the world,” he said.

The mayor also discussed the focus on the city's bike lanes.
