Marshall Co. Sheriff's Office warns of new scam

MARSHALL, CO., Ind.--- A scam alert for Marshall County residents as police warn people have been contacted by an agency that claims to be collecting money for the sheriff's office.

They say the money will be used to donate teddy bears.

The department says this is a scam, and that it has not authorized anyone to collect money.

If you're contacted by someone asking for money, do not give them any information.

And if you have questions, you can call the Marshall County Sheriff's Department.
