A local law firm celebrated a big win outside the courtroom on Friday. Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller recognized Tuesday Hall Konopa LLP for their outstanding contributions to the fifth annual March Against Hunger food drive.
The firm accepted its second “Attorney General’s Cup” at a ceremony in South Bend after donating $1,570 and 29 pounds of food to the Food Bank of Northern Indiana.
The trophy and title goes to the law firm that makes the largest contribution to its local food bank, Tuesley Hall Konopa won in the “small” law firm category, which includes all law groups with two to eleven employees.
“All food drive participants deserve recognition for their efforts to serve their local communities by selflessly giving their time and money to a worthy cause,” said Zoeller in a press release on Friday.
Forty four law groups from Indiana and Kentucky competed in this year’s drive. In total, March Against Hunger generated $55,455 and 10,065 pounds of food for food banks across the state.
