The Culver Academies’ black horse troop and equestriennes will return to Pennsylvania Ave. to participate in the president’s inaugural parade on Monday.
Indiana’s Culver Academies’ troop first made the trip to the capitol 100 years ago when they were invited for Woodrow Wilson’s 1913 inauguration.
This year marks their 17th appearance, in previous years the troop has marched in President Eisenhower’s parade in 1957 and every parade since 1993, with the exception of President Clinton’s first term inaugural parade.
