LaSalle Grill receives restaurant award for 17th consecutive year
LaSalle Grill, a staple of downtown South Bend, has been named a recipient of the American Automobile Association's "Four Diamond Award" for the 17th consecutive year.
That's an accomplishment unmatched by any restaurant in Indiana.
AAA considers not only the food the restaurant serves but also its staff, atmosphere and appearance.
Only one current Four Diamond restaurant in Chicago has received the award for more years than LaSalle Grill.
And only two in New York City have received the award just as often.
There were only four Indiana restaurants named to the 2013 list and two are right here in South Bend.
The Carriage House on Adams Road also earned the honor.
