Prosecutors have charged a central Indiana man whose wife told investigators he made her set fire to their home.
A Howard County jail officer said Saturday that 45-year-old Scott A. Reed had been released on bond. The Kokomo man faces charges of conspiracy to commit arson and aiding, inducing or causing arson. Reed didn't answer a phone message The Associated Press left seeking comment.
Reed's 29-year-old wife, Tamara Reed, is still being held on charges related to the June 6 blaze that destroyed their home.
The Kokomo Tribune reports state fire marshals overruled local investigators' finding that the fire was accidental.
Court documents say Tamara Reed claimed her husband told her he would take their children away if she didn't start the fire.
Scott Reed denied any involvement.
