STARKE COUNTY A Starke County Jail employee is facing charges for stealing from an inmate.

WKVI reports that Joshua Estok, an inmate, gave an employee, Donald Milbourn, permission to use his debit card to withdraw a thousand dollars from an ATM and put it in his commissary account.

Milbourn is seen on camera taking the debit card, and he did use it at two ATM machines, but the money never made it to Estok's account. Milbourn told police Estok gave him permission to use the money as a loan. He says he used it to purchase tires for his vehicle.

Milbourn is now facing felony charges of theft and fraud, as well as a misdemeanor charge of trafficking with an inmate.
