An Indianapolis man who survived an explosion in his neighborhood says he was sleeping at the time when chaos erupted.
Alex Pflanzer says he was in bed when "the windows and frames and everything came through the house" and his wife started began screaming.
At first, he thought someone was breaking into his home because the burglar alarm was going off, so he grabbed his gun and began running through the house.
Then he saw his front door was open and the glow of the fire, so he walked outside and saw houses on fire.
Pflanzer says he and his wife gathered up their two dogs but they were unable to find their cat.
Two people died in the explosion Saturday night and seven more went to hospitals with injuries.
