Indianapolis church starts relief fund after explosion

An Indianapolis church that's providing relief to victims of last weekend's deadly neighborhood explosion has created a centralized website where donations can be made to the disaster's victims.

Southport Presbyterian Church created the link "to allow donations to be distributed to those most in need, in a timelier manner." If you'd like to visit the website to make a donation, just head to southportpc.org/relief.

The church on Indianapolis' far south side and any Indianapolis BMO Harris Bank branch are also still accepting in-person donations for victims of the blast.

The suspected natural gas explosion happened one week ago Saturday. It killed two people, destroyed five homes, and damaged about three dozen others.
