FORT WAYNE, Ind. Measures filed in the Indiana General Assembly this year faced about 1-in-8 odds of making their way to the governor's desk.

The Journal Gazette reports that about 12 percent of the bills that filed by lawmakers were approved by both the House and Senate during this year's session.

Lawmakers filed 1,259 bills this year and gave final approval to 148 of those measures. Pence signed almost all of those bills and vetoed only three measures.
