Hooley for Autism fundraiser "rocks" the awareness movement

In honor of Autism Awareness Month, folks in Michiana can help rock the movement at the LOGAN Center’s “Hooley for Autism” Fundraiser on Saturday night.

Guests will have the chance to listen to music by The Clumsy Lovers and Enter the Haggis as well as enjoy a special guest performance by the Notre Dame and Saint Mary’s Irish Dance team.

Organizers say that attendees can enjoy an evening of Irish music and fun, all the while helping out the great cause of Autism awareness.

The proceeds go to benefit the Sonya Ansari Center for Autism at LOGAN.

The “Hooley for Autism” fundraiser will be held at the firefighters’ union hall at 4025 Lincolnway West in South Bend. It starts at 6:30 p.m. and goes until 11:30 p.m. with a special corned beef and cabbage buffet running for the first hour.

Table seats cost $40 and include the buffet dinner, while general admission/standing room tickets cost $30. Anyone who does not purchase a ticket beforehand can do so at the door for $45.
