Home total loss after fire

MARSHALL COUNTY A home was severely damaged by fire Wednesday afternoon.

It happened in the 16000 block of Linden Road west of Argos. According to Radio 1050, The Chief, flames were shooting from the roof and could be seen all the way from U.S. 31.

The home owners were next door when the fire broke out. No one was injured, but a family dog died in the blaze.

The fire started in an attached garage. It was an electrical problem.

Structrual damage to the rest of the home was bad enough that fire fighters are calling it a total loss.
