A southern Indiana town devastated by tornadoes in March is taking another step toward normalcy as classes resume in a school that took a direct hit from the storm.
Henryville students are returning to school Tuesday in a newly repaired school complex after finishing out the year in different communities.
Assistant Superintendent John Reed of West Clark Community Schools says some work is still being done to stock the library and complete the gym, but he says the complex looks much like it did before the March 2 storm.
Residents of other hard-hit areas can't say the same. Some are still living in campers, and dozens of lots where businesses once stood remain vacant.
Carolyn King of the group March2Recovery says relief efforts have given way to long-term recovery.
