There was sad news this weekend about the wife of longtime Indiana Congressman and 911 Commissioner Lee Hamilton.
Nancy Hamilton died, after she was run over by her own car.
Police said the 82-year old didn't put her car in park when she got out for a veterinary appointment Saturday in Bloomington.
Her vehicle then rolled over her as she walked behind it.
The coroner said Nancy Hamilton suffered head and chest injuries.
Lee Hamilton represented southern Indiana for more than 30 years and was vice chairman on the 9/11 commission.
Nancy was active in the arts and painted landscapes and portraits.
Friends said Hamilton and Nancy were still settling into their new life in Bloomington when she died.
The couple had three children and five grandchildren.
