A state diver has recovered the body of a man from a northeastern Indiana pond after he apparently fell in while mowing grass.
The Indiana Deparment of Natural Resources said Thursday that the diver recovered the body on Wednesday night. The victim's name was not immediately released pending notification of relatives.
Conservation Officer Mark Baker says the man was mowing grass next to the pond and apparently got too close to the edge. When he didn't return to his house, family members began a search and then called police.
Baker says alcohol might have been a factor in the death.
