Four people were taken to the hospital on Friday following a two-vehicle wreck.
According to our reporting partners at The Elkhart Truth, a car driven by Payton Yoder, 16, of Bristol, and an SUV driven by Jerred Stone, 36, of Elkhart, collided at about 9:30 p.m. at the corner of C.R. 17 and C.R. 14 in Elkhart.
Police say the car driven by Yoder was going southbound on C.R. 17 when it turned left and into the path of the SUV driven by Stone.
Three passengers in the car were hospitalized including Rodney Yoder and two children. The children were taken to Elkhart General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Yoder was transported to South Bend’s Memorial Hospital. No word yet on the status of his condition.
A passenger in the SUV, Courtney Lovett, was also taken to Elkhart General.
