A 14-year-old boy from Elkhart was arrested, along with three others, after trying to break into an apartment.
On Tuesday Jan. 8 at around 9 p.m., officers were called to an apartment in the 700 block of W. Bristol St. to look into a potential robbery. When police arrived they were given a description of the four suspects and the suspect vehicle.
A short time later, police found and stopped the described vehicle in the 300 block of Bridge St. After conducting a search, they found items taken from the robbed apartment as well as a weapon.
Police arrested a 14-year-old along with Ricky Beaver, 32, Raymond Cross, 24, and Henry Shorter, 33 for Robbery, a class B felony.
