The case of a former Knox High School teacher and basketball coach accused of official misconduct and child seduction will not go to trial.
According to WKVI radio, Todd Boldry, 39, will give up his teaching license instead of appearing in court.
The charged stem back to 2007, when Boldry was allegedly engaged in a sexual relationship with a then-17 year-old student. Prosecutors say he later fathered the teen's child, a child who is now 2 years-old.
Boldry entered a "not guilty" plea at the time. Now, prosecutors say the charges have been dropped because the alleged victim involved did not want Boldry to go to jail. She said she only wanted to have his teachers license revoked.
