SOUTH BEND, Ind. - A former South Bend paramedic who allegedly stole drugs from the fire department will not spend any time behind bars.

Timothy Greenlee, 39, appeared in court on Monday.

Greenlee was sentenced to one year for official misconduct and one year for theft, both felonies.

The court suspended both sentences and ordered Greenlee to serve one year of probation.

In October, Greenlee pleaded guilty to both charges.

He was charged on April 15 after admitting to investigators that he removed the drug fentanyl from an ambulance safe.
