Folks from the area got a chance to travel back in time during First Friday in downtown South Bend.
This month’s theme was “vintage,” and by the looks of a hula hooping Abraham Lincoln, vintage doesn’t get much more fun than this Friday night.
Honest Abe stopped by the event and faced off in a hula hooping competition with some of the kids in attendance.
First Fridays are free and draw hundreds of people to the city’s downtown every month. The next event will be held Friday, June 7 with the theme “Downtown DOGtown,” inviting people to bring their pups to restaurants, activities and shops.
