Falling ice breaks windshield, injures driver

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. - The weather is to blame for a crash in Elkhart County.

It happened around 10 a.m. Thursday on Highway 6, three miles southeast of New Paris.

Police say a sheet of snow and ice fell from a semi as it passed a truck.

The ice broke the truck's front window and hit the driver inside the truck.

Jon Hollon, 38, of Warsaw was taken to a Goshen hospital for facial cuts and a possible concussion.
