They're loved by kids around the world, and NewsCenter 16 anchors Tricia Sloma and Frank Waugh got to spend some time with them one-on-one.
Elmo and Cookie Monster stopped by WNDU studios to put on a special weather forecast and promote their live show, “Sesame Street Live – Elmo Makes Music,” happening at the Morris Performing Arts Center this week.
“Parents are going to discover that music plays an important role in their children’s lives,” spokesman Jerry DuMars says.
Elmo, Cookie Monster, Oscar the Grouch, Abby Cadabby and friends will share their love of music in two shows Wednesday, at 10:30a.m. and 7p.m.
Kids are encouraged to participate, singing and dancing along with their favorite songs from Sesame Street.
Tickets are still available at Sesame Street live.
