Elkhart General is getting some national recognition.
HealthGrades ranked the cardiac surgery unit in the nation's top hundred, and named it number one in the state of Indiana.
Just last month, Elkhart General and South Bend Memorial were named in the top five percent of safest hospitals in the country.
