ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. - The rain and melting snow created a slushy mess throughout much of Michiana Thursday.

Residents of an Elkhart County neighborhood are dealing with snow and ice they say has not been cleared at all this winter.

NewsCenter 16 spoke to residents of the Pinecrest subdivision off old US 20 Thursday evening, who say their roads are not safe.

They sent NewsCenter 16 photos of the driving conditions, and say plows have come through, but have not dropped their blades.

Susan Chilberg, an Elkhart County resident, tells NewsCenter 16 she even contacted the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department worried that an emergency vehicle would not be able to get down the road.
