SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Some of our winter snow appears to have a lot of staying power.
That was the case on Monday in the lot of Century Center in South Bend, where patience was wearing thin.
A lingering pile of snow there once consumed about forty parking spaces.
On Monday, efforts to melt the last of the frozen mountain continued.
The pile was being disassembled, and the snow was spread across the parking lot to speed up the melting process.
