Elkhart Police are investigating an early morning shooting that sent one person to the hospital.
Police found a 30 year-old man shot in the leg at around 5:30 this morning. The man was found on the 200 block of East Indiana Avenue.
The man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and has since been treated and released. The case was forwarded to the Elkhart Police Department’s Detective Bureau for further investigation as to how and why he was shot.
