A Richmond couple charged with murder in the starvation death of their infant son also has been charged with three counts of child neglect.
The Richmond Palladium-Item reports (http://pinews.co/VshMLA ) that a probable cause affidavit filed Wednesday says the Richmond home of 22-year-old Amy Hockett and 25-year-old Joseph Pierson was filthy and covered in feces and urine when investigators executed a search warrant in February on the night 4-month-old Khaiden Hockett died. The new counts involve their other three children, boys ages 4 and 3 and a 2-year-old girl.
A pathologist ruled the 4-month-old died of dehydration because of starvation.
No court dates have been scheduled for the new charges. The murder trial is scheduled to begin Oct. 29.
