Authorities say a suburban Detroit man has died in an accident while tubing on a lake in Newaygo County.
The sheriff's department says it found the 18-year-old on Tuesday evening after he fell off an inner tube that was being pulled by a personal watercraft on Woodland Lake in Merrill Township.
MLive.com reports Wednesday he was identified as Joshua Mullens.
The department says the man died at the scene about 50 miles north of Grand Rapids. He was believed to have been wearing a life preserver, but if fell off.
