A member of the South Bend Common Council is asking Indiana lawmakers to help improve the country’s immigration system.
In a statement released today, sixth district member Oliver Davis invites Sen. Joseph Donnelly, Dan Coats and Rep. Jackie Walorski to hold public meetings on the topic of immigration in order to spread greater awareness.
Davis says residents are asking for more discussion after the “Dream for All Rally,” on immigration was held on Feb. 6 in South Bend.
