Kryder Veterinary Clinic is sponsoring their second annual Community Pet Day to provide low-cost care to Michiana pet owners.
They offer rabies vaccines, distemper/ parvo for dogs, and upper respiratory/ panleukopenia vaccines for cats. They’ll also perform fecal screenings for intestinal parasites, heartworm tests for dogs, and feline leukemia tests for cats.
All services cost $5. In honor of National Spay Day on February 28, the proceeds from the event will go towards future spay/ neuter surgeries through Pet Refuge and the Frantz Fund.
The event is open to those who receive government assistance, including unemployment, Medicaid, Medicare, or social security. Those making less than $20,000 per year are also welcome, as are all active military personal. Just be sure to bring qualifying paperwork with a current date to prove eligibility.
The event runs from 1-4p.m. on Saturday, February 23rd at the Kryder Veterinary Clinic at 12555 SR 23 in Granger.
