ELKHART COUNTY One child was sent to the hospital Sunday after a crash involving a school bus.
The Elkhart Truth reports that 26-year-old Scott Parker, from Connecticut, failed to yield the right of way on County Road 29 and crossed in front of a school bus on U.S. 6. That's just north of Syracuse.
30 children were on board the bus, driven by a 46-year-old driver from Florida.
A 6-year-old boy, who was a passenger in the SUV, was taken to the hospital for a bump on his head. Three other passengers in Parker's vehicle were not injured.
The ages of the passengers on the bus has not been released.
