Charges have been filed in a murder that occurred more than two years ago, in the midst of a party.
20-year-old Javon Thomas is charged with murder in the November 2010 shooting death of William Williams.
Witnesses say Thomas confessed to the shooting, saying it was an act of retaliation.
Williams was allegedly a member of the 187 gang, Thomas a member of the Cash Out Boyz gang. 187 gang members had apparently fired shots into a Cash Out Boyz party on a previous occasion.
