Car found submerged in La Porte County lake

A car was found submerged in a frozen lake Sunday morning in La Porte County.

Shortly before 7 a.m. CST a Chevrolet was discovered in a channel off of Stone Lake in La Porte.

The driver of the car escaped unharmed and was later found at his home sleeping.

The crash remains remains under investigation by police in La Porte.
