SOUTH BEND, Ind.--- You can roll up your sleeve and give blood for a good cause until 6:30 tonight.
The South Bend Medical Foundation is holding a blood drive to benefit Logan Center.
A number of people showed up at Logan today to donate blood and raise money for Logan.
The Great Logan Nose-On is held every March but it's never too soon to start thinking ahead.
“We are trying to start a new tradition, we were challenged by the medical foundation to raise 50 units of blood today and that's what we're doing,” said Jill Langford, Director of Development at the Logan Center. “That and if we do we're going to have $2500 donated by the South Bend Medical Foundation in honor of The Great Logan Nose-On.”
When you donate a unit of blood you help save three lives.
The blood drive is taking place at Logan Center on East Jefferson Blvd.
