Bank of America transfers local branches to Old National

The transfer is complete for dozens of Bank of America branches, that now belong to Old National Bank.

In January, Old National announced it would be buying 24 branches in northern Indiana and southwest Michigan.

That includes some branches in South Bend, Elkhart, Niles, Saint Joe and Benton Harbor.

Old National acquired about $575 million in deposits and $5 million in loans from the deal.

Old National said in a previous statement that it did not expect any change to customer accounts or banking routines for former bank of America customers.
