It is a program designed to keep kids active and learning about nature during the summer months. It's been running successfully for over 10 years, and the Children's "Arts in the Park" is back on in South Bend for another year.
People can expect to see in the upwards of 200 children at any given session, interacting with area kids and learning about the arts. Kids will be doing a variety of activities including crafts, planting, painting and water fun.
The next learning opportunity is Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Howard Park. "Flower Power" is free and open to all ages.
