South Bend - A 18-year-old South Bend man is behind bars for reportedly robbing several South Bend convenience stores.
Reshawn Seward was taken into custody for the robberies.
Among the robberies, one happened at the 7-11 in the 1800 block of S. Miami Street, another at Country Convenience in the 6200 block of U.S. 31.
Police say they received a description of the suspect from the first robbery. In the second robbery, an eyewitness followed the suspect in his vehicle. The Seward reportedly got his car stuck in the snow, so he fled on foot.
The eyewitness led police to the vehicle. Police then followed the footsteps to a South Bend residence. Police say Seward was the only person inside the home that matched the suspect's description from both convenience stores.
On Monday, two additional robbery charges were filed against Seward. Police say they have resolved four total cases since his arrest Saturday.
Seward is being held in the St. Joseph County jail.
