An artsy tradition is coming to Nappanee. From Cows on Parade in Chicago, to Elk Art in Elkhart, now Nappanee is home to Apple Art.

Businesses around the community are setting up painted apple statues to dress up Nappanee Streets.

24 4-foot apples are located on street corners around the community, created by Jeff Stillson and other volunteer artists, including some high school students.

They have peacocks, Ronald McDonald, old cars and fittingly, an apple. The project honors the strong orchard industry in the area.
