ELKHART Residents at a local apartment complex are being told they can't fly any flags from their balconies this summer because of one man's offensive decision to hang a Nazi flag.

The Elkhart Truth reports that Dale Duncan put out a Nazi banner back on April 15th -- the day of the Boston Marathon bombings -- and again on Memorial Day.

The Walnut Hills apartment management responded by banning all residents from flying flags of any sort.

Duncan is fighting back, saying that is an infringement of his right to free speech. He is a military veteran.
