A semi accident on the Toll Road caused some traffic delays early this morning.
Officers say the driver of the double-trailer semi truck left the roadway and hit a guardrail around 2:15am near the 73-mile marker on the West side of South Bend.
The semi overturned, trapping the driver.
It took emergency crews nearly an hour to free the man.
Police tell NewsCenter16 the driver suffered minor injuries in the crash.
The accident forced police to shutdown a couple lanes of the Toll Road for just over two hours. Traffic is now moving smoothly at this time.
Police have not released the cause of the crash.
