South Bend students consider future careers

South Bend students considered the future on Friday, as eighth graders at Edison Intermediate Center in South Bend took part in their annual career day. The day is geared to allow the students some insight into possible jobs they might want to do in a few years.

WNDU’s own Joel Schipper spoke to the students about a career in television. After some preparation, the students had the chance to partake in a real TV news broadcast.

Other career speakers included teachers, doctors, police officers, nurses, and a veterinarian.
