Indiana University Northwest is still cleaning up from flooding after last week's storms. Officials say it could take weeks to fully restore the campus.

They closed the Moraine Student Center because the basement was covered in 21 inches of water.

Cafeteria services normally located there were moved to the Savanna Center, which is also the temporary home of the school's newspaper and literary magazine. The campus office of student services and the student credit union have moved to makeshift offices in other buildings.

Crews can begin pumping water out of the Moraine Student Center's basement once a parking lot nearby is cleared of standing water.

Lindenwood Hall and Sycamore Hall also had flooding on their first floors.
