The first Notre Dame home football game is just two days away but there is still no resolution on South Bend's lawn parking ordinance.
So, the city's decided not to enforce an ordinance this Saturday.
The South Bend city council is considering allowing parking in lawns under certain circumstances but nothing can happen until a meeting on September 17th.
The city says the one-day break applies only to lawn parking.
Police will still enforce municipal code on parking that blocks roadways, sidewalks and fire hydrants during the home game weekend.
