BP debate goes from water to air

The debate over the BP refinery in Whiting, Indiana is going from the water to the air.

Government officials and environmentalists in Illinois want a review of an air pollution variance issued by Indiana.

The change would allow BP to continue to let the same amount of emissions into the air rather than cutting it in half.

The federal government recently doubled its estimates from the plant and has forced the change.

An environmental judge is expected to respond in the coming weeks.
