UPDATE: South Bend police release photo of 7-Eleven robbery suspect

SOUTH BEND A 7-Eleven was robbed in South Bend early Tuesday morning.

It happened at 4:30 a.m. in the 500 block of E LaSalle, near Corby’s. The suspect told the clerk he had a weapon but never actually revealed it.

He got away with cash and a carton of cigarettes.

The suspect is described as a black man, standing 5’7 with a medium build. He was wearing a light blue sweatshirt with dark blue writing, and a white baseball hat with a black bill. He has facial hair.

Anyone with information can contact South Bend police.
