Repair work continues at a bridge on Interstate 465 after a propane tanker explosion on an Indianapolis expressway.
State highway engineers earlier reopened a westbound bridge, but the eastbound bridge remains closed Saturday. The Indiana Department of Transportation said Saturday it's not known when it will reopen.
The department says closures are expected to continue into next week following Thursday's crash.
The closure is on the northeast side of Indianapolis, which is one of the area's busiest traffic corridors and averages more than 150,000 vehicles a day.
The state highway department says the explosion on an I-69 ramp knocked out one of 45 concrete columns supporting the bridges that will need to be replaced.
