The United Auto Workers has launched a 3 million-dollar advertising campaign attacking Republican presidential candidate John McCain in four industrial states.
The television, radio and Internet ads have started running in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
They'll feature UAW members and offer a message that working families can't afford McCain.
The UAW says more than half of its 1 million active and retired members live in those four states.
McCain campaign regional spokeswoman Sarah Lenti says in an e-mail that working families need McCain's policies.
The UAW has endorsed McCain's Democratic opponent, Barack Obama.
